When Zyrtec, Claritin, Sudafed and steroid nasal sprays all fail, the only thing keeping me awake this season is double the coffee. And as long as I’m feeling lousy, I might as well be pampered.
This creamer took all of 2 minutes to prepare and lacks all the crazy ingredients in most store-bought flavors.
MOCHA COFFEE CREAMER
1 cup milk, heavy cream or almond milk (depending on how creamy or how parve you want it)–I use 3/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup heavy cream
1t vanilla extract
1t almond extract
2T maple syrup
1t cocoa powder
Add the cocoa powder and cinnamon to coffee grinds and brew as usual. Mix the other ingredients into the milk and microwave for one minutes. Shake vigorously before using to create froth. Use as much as desired immediately and save the rest in the fridge for later.
