Meals are sometimes rough when you’re the kid of a food blogger. Your mom ALWAYS seems to be in the kitchen. You learn to be entertained by sitting on the counter and “helping,” but every time you get busy pouring and stirring, your mom pauses to take a photo. And when you’re finally ready to eat your yummy food, your mom makes you wait and actually pose (!) with the food.

Then she snaps a few more photos once you stuff your face–even when all you’re eating is macaroni and cheese. At least you’re not eating Wacky Mac.

HOMEMADE MACARONI AND CHEESE 1 package cooked elbow noodles 2T butter 1.25 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1/4 cup milk 1/4 cup sour cream 1/2 salt 1/2 mustard powder freshly ground pepper to taste Once you prepare the noodles, melt butter over medium heat. Add milk, sour cream, spice, salt, pepper and cheese and stir until cheese melts. If your cheese clumps and doesn’t melt, try a different brand next time. I used Oneg this time, and it worked well. Leave flame on while you mix the noodles into the cheese sauce. Serve immediately.
Very cute. Looks yummy! What’s wrong with Wacky Mac????
