If you’ve never tasted homemade lemonade, you haven’t tasted summer. Problem is, when my kids want lemonade, they want it NOW! They’re not interested in waiting for the sugar to dissolve in boiling water and then cool down in the fridge before I add the lemon. Good thing Agave syrup dissolves in water right away.

HOMEMADE LEMONADE & LEMON POPSICLES
4 cups water
Agave syrup* to taste (I used 2T)
Juice from 2 lemons
Sliced strawberries and raspberries (optional)

Squeeze the lemons into a liquid measuring cup. Add the water and agave syrup. Drink it right away with ice or freeze it in a popsicle mold for later. I added fresh strawberries and raspberries to the molds for added fun.

*Find Agave at Cosco, Target, Jewel or Trader Joes, near the honey. It’s a healthier alternative to sugar.
